At 13:18 on June 13 Beijing time, “Tiangong-1”target aircraft and “The Shenzhou Ten” spacecraft successfully achieved manual rendezvous and docking, the successful completion of the space mission trip of “The Shenzhou Ten”. This is the fifth times accurate rendezvous and docking of “Tiangong-1”and “The Shenzhou Ten” since the “Tiangong-1”orbited. In the rendezvous and docking process, the rendezvous and docking control system, range remote optical fiber communication system and fluid circuits test control system researched and developed by the Simulation Company of the Third Institute and partners provide powerful support for the ground test verification of “Tiangong-1” and “The Shenzhou Ten” docking.

It is understood that the rendezvous and docking technology of “Tiangong-1”, whether general program or specific implementation, are China’s independent research and development. And one of the keys to successful docking is the need to ensure navigation, braking, control the operation of all spacecraft systems are accurate and stable, Which present a huge challenge for China’s aerospace communications, monitoring and lubrication, and other related support system. In order to ensure foolproof rendezvous and docking, our company and partner develop rendezvous and docking test control system for spacecraft and space station docking ground test and validating automatic and manual docking solutions through multiple research, and ultimately achieve the desired requirements.


In addition to the rendezvous and docking test control systems, our company also provides range remote optical fiber communication system: connect the launch tower and test control room for the pre-launch test signal transmission; fluid circuit test control system: for spacecraft and space stations fluid loop control and temperature control ground tests; laser radar calibration system: for docking sensor calibration of lidar products tested. These systems started from Shenzhou VIII have already been in use and in the future they will continue to be used in Tiangong-2 manned space rendezvous and docking mission.
